10 WAYS YOU CAN EARN MONEY FROM ONLINE.
I will explain these in layman’s terms so you can grasp them easily.
1: Building audience through a blog then monetize with direct/referral traffic: This is what social media blogs like Instablog and several other do, they start by either educating and/or entertaining you while building an active returning audience, and once they grow they begin to monetize via direct advertisements.
I have blogs in this category, i offer them free entertainment and from time to time, i became their sure source of entertainment and then they keep coming back to my website/platform, since they are in their thousands/millions, advertisers now wants to reach more people through my websites.
This is also what many online content creators and comedians are doing, once they build enough audience from entertaining you, they begin to receive advertorial deals and even put up paid physical or online shows.
2: Building blogs for Search Traffic: The biggest search engines are Google, Yandex, Bing, Yahoo etc. It will interest you to know that on each breathe you make per second, there are over 100,000 searches on google alone– massive.
So, bloggers like myself who knows various SEO (Search engine optimization) practices and methods, can build blogs specifically for search traffic. When people search for what they want, our blogs appear on Google search and when they come to our website they get what they are looking for and we serve them ads or even sell them a product.
3: Building a Subscription Service: This is like the game changer of wealth creation on the online space, if you sell a service of $1 subscription monthly to 5,000 active members, its sweet $5k monthly for you, all you need is a solid service that keeps people glued and easy to onboard even more users.
Netflix, DSTV for example charges subscriptions for their services. A SaaS (Software as a Service) that solves a problem or make an existing solution even simpler also fits perfectly well in this example.
4: Building Blogs for Paid traffic: This is also a niche i like to play in, it’s expensive but it could be worth it. You have to find a niche with lots of advertisers who spends money and lots of users who wants the info.
E.G insurance, Jobs, Scholarship or Travel, then build blogs around it, monetize the blog through Google Adsense, then strategically make your advertising campaign to send users from social platforms down to your website, and when these users comes, as they are reading your contents, ads are being served to them and you earn from Google Adsense.
You can also do this in a newer and more advance way for other networks asides from Google Adsense. This time, it’s even easier, instead of making a full website, you’d make a simple landing page with buttons and your direct links to these advert network. You have to configure it well by sending only top performing countries’ traffic according to the need of these advert networks so you could get value for the paid traffic.
CPA (Cost per action) campaigns also fits here. There are various platforms like CPAGRIP, they have offers and are will to pay you for “actions” taken by users you send to them. E.g A developer builds an app and wants people to begin to use it, and they pay you $1 for every install, if you can send one install to them from paid adverts of $0.5, thats 50% profits and if you have existing leads/traffic bank– then its 100%.
5: Selling Goods Online : We call this eCommerce i.e commerce on the internet and it happens majorly in two ways.
A: Dropshipping: This is when you don’t have or even own the product, you take the product, advertise it online when people pay, you place the order on the original owner’s website using the buyer’s details after removing your own percentage profit.
There are automatic ways to do this, but this is just a layman’s explanation for you to grasp the point. it’s like a customer walks into your shop to buy something, you know you don’t have it but you tell the customer to pay that you are going to get it from your other shop, you go there buy it, pocket the excess and bring the goods to the customer.
Note: You could still own the goods in dropshipping, but you are not in-charge of the handling and shipping.
B: Selling Physical goods: Unlike the above, you have the goods already imported and available in your warehouse or delivery agent’s warehouse. You begin to run ads and when people buy, you deliver. You must be sure to only do this for HOT products or local products that are highly sought-after especially health related ones like man pawa, big bazooka related ones or tightening of the inifikpumdum.
6: Course creation and Sales: Are you are expert in something and you know a lot of people are interested in it, make videos of it, bundle it and sell. You’d be shocked how many people would like to learn from you.
2 years ago, when i released my introductory course on Blogging, i was shocked to make over 1000 sales during the presale alone.
You can also write a book, a story, a compilation etc and then market it online, you’d be shocked how many people are interested to learn “How to buy cheaper goods in the market”, “How to Stop Mastùrbåtion”, “How to make liquid soap” etc.
7: Affiliate Marketing / PR: Affiliate marketing is quickly upgrading to become a more advance form of PR, publicizing a business, making a sale and taking your own percentage
As a matter of fact, this strategy has swept the entire real estate industry, people now create their own child-realtor firm, solely for promoting various landed properties from various real estate firms, selling these lands and pocketing as high as 2-5% even as high as 7% + several mouth-watering offers like cars etc.
People are also taking the Affiliate marketing strategies to become Clubs PR, Hotel PR that is, i bring in customers to spend the night, buy drinks, party or celebrate their birthdays at your facility and i get a percentage of what they spend.
They are doing this by building leads of people interested in a particular industry, leads could be whatsapp contacts, group members, email list and later marketing various offers to them– The hottest now is the short-let apartment industry, you source for top apartments, run adverts build leads and market deals to people who wants an away-from-home experience with discounts.
8: Become a Youtuber/Content creator: This is almost what was explained in number 1 above, just that this time around, contents are now taking a new shape. People are now making themed accounts/pages and running faceless channels.
E.g You can create a themed page on Socials about “Fast Cars” and pick contents from same platform, edit it to become original give yours a name e.g Top 10 list of fast cars in 2024 and post it.
I have done something like this in the past, it’s tasking but once it picks up, your page will get more recommendations and you’d earn. Same content can be shared across various social platform for more monetization.
9: Online Gaming & Streaming: Not just gaming, if you could do online streaming of something with a large audience on platforms like Twitch, you can earn income from being affiliates, donations and from the views generated.
Online gamers are fast becoming rich, and gaming becoming a valid occupation that can raise a family comfortably, as more and more platforms like Facebook Gaming, Youtube, Twitch even X have created an avenue for you to stream and earn rewards like stars, coins, donations and from the views generated from your streaming activities.
10: Sell your Service Online: Business professionals who are wanting to bring their physical businesses online are having a hard time managing both physical and their online presence together, this is where social media management/handling, virtual assistants and co comes into play.
Asides from managing socials, you can sell almost every online skill/service, Just today, i paid someone to use ChatGpt to write contents for me, i know i could do it but i was busy and the post was a lengthy 5,000 words that needs styling and includes rankmath’s FAQs, i had to give someone— virtual assistants could earn a good living, other skilled professionals could sell their services online like developer, video editors, graphics designer, writers etc.
While selling Skills or service online might be a direct way to work with online business owners, you may need more skills to make this happen, from communication, negotiation, delivery etc.
