1. ASABA: At some point, Asaba was the busiest hub for Movie production. In the days Nollywood was coming up, Asaba was used to produce most of the Legendary Films that. There was virtually any Producer, Director Or Actor You couldnt find there. Asaba is still active till now for Movie production but a lot has changed.

2. ENUGU: Enugu was also another hub for Nollywood movies. Many Actors also based there even those who didnt based there saw it as their second home. Enugu have also serve as location for various legendary Movies We know today.

ABA: In the booming years of Nollywood movies marketed in CD and Casette jackets, Aba being the most vibrant commercial city in West Africa, marketed a lot of Movies within and outside the Country. Aba was mentioned on 99% Movie adverts. Aba also doubled as a location for production of some Legendary movies.

4. LAGOS: Lagos also held sway in the production and marketing of Nollywood movies. It was also mentioned in almost all Nollywood film adverts. Lagos like Aba played a very heavy role in marketing Nollywood to the International market

5. ONITSHA: Last but not the least on the list is Onitsha. Onitsha was very strategic in the success of Nollywood. It stood in the center between the production hubs and the marketing hubs. Onitsha is very close to Asaba and connects easily with Enugu. Onitsha also holds the boundary between East and Lagos. These strategic position gave it the advantage to receive movies from any angle for marketing.
