Bride Càncels Wedding Days To D-Day Over Groom’s Fàilure To Rent New Apartment In Jos Town; Groom Reacts

Nigerian bride-to-be purportedly called off her wedding shortly before the ceremony because her fiancé couldn’t come up with N30,000 for her dream wedding gown and insisted on remaining at his parents’ home.

Allegedly, the wedding scheduled for Saturday, May 4th, 2024, in Faarin Lamba, Vom, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State, was called off because the groom suggested living with his parents for two months after the wedding, which the bride objected to.

However, it was revealed that the bride, identified as Florence Friday, insisted that they find a new apartment in Jos town instead of remaining in their current community, Vom, which is distant from the city of Jos.

Florence asked her groom-to-be, Morgak James, for N30,000 on March 28th, 2024, to reserve her preferred wedding gown.

The groom could only gather N15,000 and assured her he’d provide the rest the following week. Upset by this, the bride-to-be threatened to cancel the wedding because of it.

The bride-to-be was upset by this and threatened to cancel the wedding as a result.

Morgak managed to gather the N30,000 two days later and promptly delivered it to Florence for the gown reservation.

However, he was shocked a few days before the wedding when he received a call informing him that his fiancee had canceled the wedding because he refused to leave his family’s house.
