Bandits, on Thursday night, May 9, invaded the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTEC) Osara, Okene in Kogi State, and kidnapped some students.

The students were reading for their upcoming exams when the bandits arrived around 9:00 pm through the bush, went into three lecture halls, and began shooting into the air to scare students.

The students were trapped in the halls as they had been surrounded by the bandits who then picked them up in their numbers.

By the time local security guards and the conventional security men at the gate arrived, the bandits had already succeeded in abducting some students.
