Nigeria had the highest payout for an African country on Spotify last year, followed by South Africa. Spotify also revealed that the number of artists in Nigeria earning 10 million Naira as royalties from their platform has surpassed 10,000, which is four times the number they had in 2018 🫡.

The highest-earning Nigerian acts in 2023 were Rema, Burna Boy, Davido, Wizkid, Asake, and Ayrastarr.
