Actress Lily Allen made a candid revelation during a podcast with Radio Times, expressing that having children with her ex-husband, Sam Cooper, significantly impacted her career in terms of pop stardom.
She conveyed the sentiment that motherhood had a Negative effect on her professional trajectory, suggesting that it “ruined” her life in that aspect.
She said to the Radiotimes: “My children ruined my career.
“I love them and they complete me, but in terms of pop stardom, they totally ruined it.
“I get really annoyed when people say you can have it all because, quite frankly, you can’t, some people choose their career over their children and that’s their prerogative.
my parents were absent when i was a kid and that left like nasty scars that I’m not willing to, you know repeat on mine so i chose stepping back and concentrating on them i’m glad that i have done that.”
