No Man Is More Powerful Than God – Governor Fubara

Siminalayi Fubara, the governor of Rivers State, has asserted that no single man has more power than God to prevent providential purpose because God wills the hearts of kings to go in any direction he wants to do His command.

Punch reported that Fubara said that those who strive for power develop an obsession for it, becoming vicious, and enjoy ruthlessly violating the freedoms and rights of those they should be dedicating their lives to helping.

He went on to say that he would make the people of Rivers genuinely proud of his tenure by continuing to oversee the state’s affairs with the fear of God.

Fubara provided the assurance at the Sunday child dedication service held in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wordu’s family at a church in Rumueme Community in Rivers State.

Although Fubara claimed that no state administration had ever gone through what it is going through, he emphasized that the power to persevere comes from a spirit that always relies on God’s strength.

He said, “No man is more powerful than God. And even the heart of that wicked and heartless man, or whatever you want to call it, is even in the palm of God’s hand.”

“It’s like water that God turns in directions He wants. So, it’s only God who will continue to help us. And I know that He will lead us to a successful end.”
