Nigeria Military ready to deploy Forces if nationwide protests escalate
The military high command has announced that its forces are prepared to be deployed to restore law and order amid escalating nationwide protests that have turned violent in various regions.
Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa made this statement during a press briefing at the Defence Headquarters on Friday, August 2.
General Musa emphasised that the armed forces are committed to acting decisively and will not passively observe as unrest threatens the nation’s stability.
