Governor Otti Flags Off World-Class Remodeling of Aba Shopping Centre, Pledges Statewide Market Transformation.
Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, today flagged off the remodeling of Aba Ekeoha Textiles Market, popularly known as Aba Shopping Centre. The Governor assured traders that as his government is rebuilding Abia State, the rebuilding will reach every corner of the state.
He stated that the market will be rebuilt to international standards, featuring 24/7 power supply and elevators. The reconstruction will be carried out section by section.
The Governor has made provisions for traders affected by the first phase of the rebuilding, ensuring they have a temporary location for their businesses until their new shops are completed. Once the first section is finished, those traders will return to their new shops, and the next phase will begin. This process will continue until the entire market is fully rebuilt.
