“Wizkid is my guy, he is one of the guys that I respect the most. Even Davido and Burna Boy but I can’t even say I respect them because respect is a big word. I admire them because they’re good guys, it takes alot for me to respect someone. I don’t respect them because they’ve not become revolutionary yet but I admire them alot. I’m sure they don’t respect me too because I don’t have money more than them. Because they always say that “Na who get money na who deserve respect.” I’m they also have a lot of admiration for me, but I always like what they do on their post. Just somedays ago, Wizkid liked my song that I posted and that’s admiration. When these boys say these things, we misunderstand them but the prëssure were putting on them is too much. We’ve made it seem like they can’t do anything else except afrobeats. What Wizkid and Burna Boy is saying is not downplaying afrobeats, they just want us to stóp dictating to them as artists because they can also do other genres.” Seun Kuti
