Suspected ritualist arrested trying to kill Lady inside Hotel room after tying her hands and legs

A man identified as Alex, suspected to be both a ritualist and internet fraudster, was apprehended in Abuja while attempting to kill a young woman named Olivia for ritual purposes.

The incident happened in a hotel in Wuse Zone 5, where hotel staff were alerted by Olivia’s screams.

Upon entering the room, they discovered her naked, bound with cellotape, her mouth sealed, and her hands and legs tied.

Hotel workers immediately intervened, rescuing Olivia and preventing the attack.

However, the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, has disclosed that it is awaiting the handover of the suspected ritualist who has been caught by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) for investigations

The Police Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, on behalf of the FCT Command, issued a statement which reads: “The FCT police command is aware of the video footage circulating about a lady who was criminally confined in Top View hotel, Wuse, Abuja on 17th September, 2024, by an alleged Internet fraudster for money ritual.

“Findings revealed that the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has taken the suspect into custody and are yet to hand over to the police for diligent investigation.

“The FCT police command for all intent and purposes awaits the NSCDC to hand over all parties for commencement of diligent and discreet investigation.
