Rude Boy Threatens Legal Action Against Mr. P for Alleged Unauthorized Use of Song

In a heated exchange between former P-Square bandmates, Rude Boy (Paul Okoye) has publicly warned his twin brother Mr. P (Peter Okoye) to “write his own songs” after the latter allegedly released a track originally written and recorded by Rude Boy several years ago. The song, which Rude Boy claims was never intended for release, has ignited a dispute that could lead to legal action if unresolved.

“Music isn’t that hard, bro. Go write your own. The days of manipulation are over,” Rude Boy stated in a stern social media post directed at Mr. P. The controversy comes after Mr. P had previously suggested that he could write his own music. However, Rude Boy has expressed frustration, viewing Mr. P’s use of his unreleased work as a step backward.

Rude Boy has demanded that Mr. P remove the track from streaming platforms or face legal consequences. He has also shared the original version of the track, which he recorded years ago but chose not to release. Comparing the two songs Boy, Mr. P released the song “word for word and beat for beat” with no modifications.

Recently, Rude Boy expressed a desire to reunite with his brother. However, given the current tensions, a reunion seems unlikely in the near future.

This public dispute marks the latest chapter in the ongoing tensions between the two brothers, whose separation as the iconic duo P-Square has led each artist to pursue a solo career amid continued rivalry.
