Dr. Ngozi Orabueze, the newly appointed Prime Minister of the Biafra Government in Exile (BRGIE), has publicly thanked the Finnish government for its role in protecting Simon Ekpa, the group’s former leader, from alleged attempts by the Nigerian government to apprehend him. She also reaffirmed her commitment to “restore and defend Biafrans with her life.
Dr. Orabueze brings a diverse background to her leadership role. Prior to her involvement with BRGIE, she served as the Chairperson of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Atlanta chapter and has built a career as a practicing nurse. She later became Chief of Staff to the former Prime Minister of the BRGIE, a position that has now transitioned her to the helm of leadership.
Under her tenure, the BRGIE continues to advocate for the restoration of a sovereign Biafran state while addressing international concerns related to their activities.
