Ebonyi State Governor Presents 2025 Appropriation Bill to State Assembly
The Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt. Hon. Francis Nwifuru, yesterday presented the 2025 Appropriation Bill before the Ebonyi State House of Assembly. The proposed budget totals ₦396,589,009,620.00 and is christened the “Budget of Economic and Social Development.”
Governor Nwifuru described the budget as a strategic roadmap for the industrialization, improved standard of living, and overall economic growth of Ebonyi State. He emphasized that the bill was meticulously crafted to address key developmental priorities and advance the welfare of citizens.
The presentation, which took place in the Hallowed Chamber of the State Assembly, sets the stage for legislative scrutiny and approval of the budget, which is expected to usher in a new phase of economic transformation for the state.
