EFCC Arrèsts Bobrisky For Mi$using Nigerian Møney
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has taken into custody the controversial cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, for his involvement in the misuse of the Nigerian currency, the spraying of naira notes, and mutilation of currency.
Bobrisky, who has faced numerous controversies recently, was arrested in Lagos on Wednesday night and is currently being held at the Lagos Command of the EFCC.
Confirming the situation to reporters in a phone conversation on Thursday, April 4, the EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, stated that Bobrisky is in custody and will face charges in court. Oyewale mentioned, “Bobrisky is in our custody. He was apprehended last night in Lagos, and he is currently at our Lagos command. We arrested him for purportedly misusing naira notes, spraying of naira notes, and mutilation of currency, among other allegations.”
Oyewale said;
“We are very serious about restoring the dignity of the naira. Though our investigation is still ongoing, but he will definitely be charged to court soon.”
