UDAMA IGALA WOULDWIDE gave the commendation while at the palace of Onu-Ife in Abejukolo on Sunday to condole with him over the lost of over 30 persons of his subjects due to Fulani attack.

The National Chairman of the Organization, Alhaji Kerimu P who spoke via the national Secretary, Comrade Michael O Sani said, ” Natasha Akpoti Uduanghan is a rear gift to just not Kogi but Nigeria as a whole adding that ” this is what we they call representation without sentiment”.

The statement however regretted while the Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho representing the district kept mute on the attack emphasizing that an attack on any part of Igala land is an attack on Igala nation”.

They said, “despite the fact that Former Governor Idris Ibro, Hon Halims and some prominent people in Igala ‘s land have spoken, Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho, being the Senator representing Kogi East should have added his voice as well in order to further escalate the gravity of the attack.

The group narrated to the pressmen that ” It would be recalled that the violent attacks occurred in two communities, Agojeju Odo and Abejukolo in Omala LGA of the State on Thursday, April 4.

“The gunmen, who were having a running battle with Agatu militia in Benue, extended their onslaught to Agojeju Odo, Ajokpachi Odo, Bagaji and environs, destroying their farm produce”.

” Even when there was no reprisal attack from the mentioned communities, the Fulani Herdsmen went ahead to attack and kill innocent people at the dead of the night when no one was awake”.

Meanwhile, the group has called on the acting Governor of the State in person of Ahmed Usman Ododo, and other relevant authorities including IGP to make sure the protestors are brought to book in order to serve as a deterrent to such future attack.
