French shipping company EuroGreen Maritime has landed a seven-year charter deal for four MR product tankers newbuilds with Norwegian energy major Equinor.

The vessels, worth more than $250m in total are scheduled for delivery from Wuhu Shipyard in China starting in the first half of 2026 through 2027. They will serve Equinor’s products trade and be managed by V.Ships France.

The newbuilds will feature a methanol dual-fuel engine with a shaft generator complemented by a battery-hybrid power generation system as well as a pair of OceanWings wingsails developed by the French company AYRO.
