Man City Star Wants To Leave Club Because Of English Weather

Manchester City midfielder, Bernardo Silva is reportedly willing to leave the treble winners because of the English weather.

According to Football Insider as reported by Caught Offside, Silva is itching to get out of The Etihad Stadium due to the English weather.

The Portuguese star desires to depart Manchester in search of a ‘better style of living,’ the source claims.

Silva, 29, joined City in 2017 from the French team Monaco, and he has been crucial to Man City’s success ever since.

The midfielder has made 345 appearances for the club across all competitions, tallying 64 goals and 63 assists.

Even though Silva is an important member of Guardiola’s squad. Silva has been strongly linked to leave The Etihad during each of the last three transfer windows.

After winning the treble with City the previous season, Silva was reportedly a target for teams in Saudi Arabia. Barcelona, French stronghold Paris Saint-Germain, and a host of other teams have also been linked.

The story suggests that Silva’s future is still uncertain as the summer transfer window draws near, even though a transfer never occurred.

The current deal Silva has with City is set to expire at the end of the 2025–2026 season.

The flexible midfielder has played a significant role in Guardiola’s achievements in both the Champions League and the Premier League.

If the Portugal international decides to leave the team at the end of the current campaign, Guardiola may have a difficult time finding a replacement.
