Police Affairs Minister, Senator Gaidam, facilitates with Muslims on the occasion of Eid-El-Fitr
The Minister of Police Affairs, Senator Gaidam, extended his heartfelt greetings to the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid-El-Fitr Sallah celebration.
In a statement released by his Special Assistant, Dr. Liman Goje, Senator Gaidam emphasised the importance of carrying forward the lessons learned during Ramadan into our daily lives for the betterment of society.
Senator Gaidam urged for a time of reflection and encouraged everyone to reach out and support those in need within the community.
He also called for special prayers for peace, prosperity, unity, and development of the country.

Highlighting the significance of peace, unity, and tolerance among the diverse population of Nigeria for growth and development to flourish, Senator Gaidam stressed that the country’s diversity should be a source of strength rather than division.
He said, “As muslim all over the world celebrate this year’s Eid El-Fitr to signal the end of the holy month of Ramadan, I urge all Nigerians to reflect the lessons and virtues of sacrifice, forgiveness, piety, self-denial and genuine love towards one another which we learnt during the month-long fasting.
“Apart from this reflection, let us intensify special prayers for the nation, for peace and unity and wisdom to overcome challenges being faced in security and economy of the country.
