Adanma Luke, the Nollywood movie producer linked to the tragic deaths of actor Junior Pope and four others in the Anam River incident, has reportedly turned herself in to the police.
SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the command’s spokesperson, stated that Adanma Luke appeared before the authorities on Thursday, April 11, and gave a statement concerning the regrettable event.
SP Tochukwu Ikenga, in an exclusive discussion with a well-known media outlet, verified that Adanma voluntarily turned herself in and provided a statement.
Additionally, the police spokesperson revealed that two boat operators suspected to be involved in the incident have been arrested and are currently in police custody.
Furthermore, it has come to light that other members of the movie’s cast and crew will be called in for questioning as part of the investigation process.
SP Tochukwu Ikenga emphasized that every possible avenue will be explored in the pursuit of justice and accountability concerning the tragic incident.
