Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham applauds the organizers of the 2024 African Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) for their remarkable work following the event.
The African Magic Viewers Choice Awards took place on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Eko Hotel in Lagos, bringing together the finest actors, directors, and filmmakers from across the continent.
In a now-deleted post, the actress and filmmaker shared a photo of Busola Tejumola, the Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice, praising her for orchestrating the awards impeccably. She asserted that this was the most exceptional and authentic AMVCA to date.
She wrote: “Best and realest AMVCA ever welldone @busola.tejumola You did well and Yes @africamagic welldone we love you”
Some social media users speculated that her commendation of AMVCA stemmed from her colleague and rival, Funke Akindele, not receiving any awards despite being nominated.
