APC suspends National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje amid corruption allegations

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Ganduje ward in Dawakin Tofa Local Government, Kano State, has officially suspended Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the party’s National Chairman, with immediate effect.

Announced by the party’s legal adviser at Ganduje ward, Haladu Gwanjo, the suspension was made public during a news conference in Kano on Monday.

The decision to suspend Dr. Ganduje was attributed to the bribery and misappropriation of funds allegations raised against him by the Kano state government.

Gwanjo elaborated that the members voted by passing a vote of no confidence in Dr. Ganduje due to his inability to clear his name from the various corruption allegations, including the infamous circulated dollar videos showcasing his alleged acceptance of bribes from contractors.

The suspension of the National Chairman is effective as of today, April 15th.
