BREAKING: Pandemonium as Witness collapses, dies inside Court

An unidentified man in his seventies, collapsed and passed away during a session at the Ondo State High Court in Oka, Ondo.

The incident took place prior to the commencement of the court proceedings.

According to witnesses, the individual was present to testify as a witness in a case involving a friend.

A court employee, speaking on condition of anonymity, stated that the septuagenarian collapsed abruptly, without any apparent interaction or contact with anyone or anything.

He said: “The man was in court with his friend and suddenly, he stood up where he was seated and fell down, hitting his head on the tiles and he passed on.

“He didn’t look like someone who was sick and he did not collide with anything or anybody that we may say is the cause of his death.”

Tunde Ariyo, another witness, mentioned that officers from the Enu-Owa police division were summoned to transport the deceased to the mortuary.

Authorities from the Enu-Owa Police Division verified the occurrence and stated that the matter has been forwarded to the homicide division at the police headquarters in Akure.
