Chelsea forward Jackson moment spotted as the Blue striker taunts Manchester United star

Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson produced a moment that perhaps went unnoticed in the club’s win over Manchester United on Thursday night. The Blues recorded a dramatic 4-3 win over their old rivals at Stamford Bridge.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be eager to gain momentum for the end of the season after two Cole Palmer goals in added time earned the Blues an unlikely three points. Chelsea had led 2-0 during the first half before a spirited fightback by Man United.

Conor Gallagher had opened the scoring for Chelsea after just four minutes before Palmer scored the first goal of his hat-trick from the penalty spot. It was during this period of early dominance that Nicolas Jackson showcased the confidence that was flowing through the Chelsea side.

Receiving the ball out on the left flank in the 27th minute, Jackson was in plenty of space but proceeded to do a 360-degree spin before facing up to his marker. It is a move that has become somewhat synonymous with Manchester United winger Antony, who, ironically, was the player coming to close down the striker.

While it proved too early in the game for showboating, is not the first time that Jackson has shown similar qualities in a Chelsea shirt. After scoring a late hat-trick against nine-man Spurs in north London earlier in the season, Jackson marked the moment with Cristiano Ronaldo’s famous celebration in front of the home crowd, which endeared him to Chelsea supporters.

The 22-year-old has received his fair share of criticism during his debut season with Chelsea enduring another difficult campaign. However, the former Villarreal forward has registered 12 goal contributions in 26 league games so far.
