D’Tigress Roar into History: Ezinne Kalu’s MVP Performance Sends Canada Packing!
Yesterday, Ezinne Kalu was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the basketball match between Nigeria and Canada, where Nigeria defeated Canada to reach the quarter-finals of the Olympic basketball tournament. Ezinne came through in the clutch for D’Tigress, playing a crucial role in helping the team beat the world number 5 ranked Canada women’s team.
This marks the first time in history that an African basketball team, both female and male, has ever qualified for the quarter-finals in any international basketball tournament.
