Tragedy struck in Ebonyi State as Pastor John Ogbonna, a dedicated clergyman from Ohazara, was found lifeless on a mountain where he had been fasting and praying for several days. According to reports from his church members, Pastor Ogbonna had embarked on a period of dry fasting and prayer, seeking spiritual upliftment.
His lifeless body was discovered alongside his Bible and other prayer materials, raising sorrow among his congregation, who were awaiting his return. The pastor was known for his deep faith and commitment to spiritual retreats, often going to the mountain for extended periods of prayer.
