Edo Guber: Ganduje reveals what will happen in forthcoming Governorship Elections in Ondo, Anambra
Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), announced that the party intends to apply its successful strategy from the Edo State governorship election to secure victory in Ondo State’s election on November 16.
The former governor of Kano also noted that this approach would extend to Anambra, currently led by the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), as well as to other South Eastern states in upcoming elections.
Speaking in Abuja on Monday while celebrating Senator Monday Okpebholo’s win with the Edo state election team, Ganduje emphasised that a major party like the APC should dominate the South East and urged leaders at all levels to intensify their efforts to achieve the party’s goals.
Ganduje said: “We have started working to develop strategies to win these states. Next year, Anambra state will follow. Let me remind you that we have a project which we named political demarginalisation of South East geo-political zone.
“That project is also a task that must be done. We will face South East zone with 5 states. We already have 2, but 2 is too small for a big party like ours. We will face that state and see how we can recover many states in our favour.”
