Edo Guber: Governor Godwin Obaseki loses LG to APC
Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has lost his local government, Oredo Local Government Area, to the All Progressives Congress in the governorship election results declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
While APC candidate Senator Monday Okpebholo polled 30,780 votes, Asue Ighodalo of the PDP secured 24,938 votes in the local government area.
Labour Party candidate, Olumide Akpata, recorded 5,389 votes in the election results from the area.
