EFCC sends message to Naira abusers, suggests asking Bobrisky for update
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has issued a stern warning to Nigerians against the abuse of the national currency, Naira.
The cautionary message comes following the conviction of social media personality, Bobrisky, for offenses related to the mishandling of Naira.
Bobrisky, known for his controversial online presence, was handed a six-month prison sentence by the Lagos court for his involvement in the abuse of the Naira, with no option of a fine.
This development has prompted the EFCC to reiterate its stance against such activities, emphasizing the seriousness with which it views currency abuse.
Taking to Twitter, the EFCC made its stance crystal clear. The anti graft agency went on to warn individuals engaging in the abuse of the Naira.
“Say No To Abuse of the Naira If preaching will not send the message, conviction will.
