EPL: My home draws me a lot – Arteta hints he wants to return to Spain

Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta has hinted that he wants to return to Spain after his tenure at the Emirates.

Arteta’s current deal with the Gunners will expire in the summer of 2025.

He was recently linked with a move to Barcelona.

During his pre-match press conference ahead of Arsenal’s final day clash with Everton, Arteta was asked if he sees himself managing in Spain.

The former Spain midfielder said,

“I have always thought that one day I will return. My home draws me a lot, our way of living, of getting together, the culture – and that means I always have it in my head.

“But I am happy here [at Arsenal], happy with how they treat me, and I really enjoy my job. But someday I suppose it will come, I’m not going to be away for my whole life.”
