Following Sunday’s goalless draw between Arsenal and Manchester City, Liverpool has taken the lead in the Premier League.
The game at the Etihad was like a chess match between Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola, two managers who are very familiar with one another.
Infuriatingly for the neutral, both teams’ attempts to neutralize one another at various points on the field were successful, and the game finished 0-0.
Because of this, the race for the Premier League title is still very much open, but it is a little odd to see Manchester City in third place at this point in the season.

With a superior goal differential, Jurgen Klopp’s team is the clear favorite to win the Premier League this year.
Haaland isn’t giving up just yet, though. After the match against Arsenal, he posted on Instagram with confidence, asserting that City can come back from behind and win the championship, just as they did the previous year.
He wrote, “We can do it again; we’ve done it once!”
