Mayweather then fell in love with Jose Harris and they had three children together; Koraun, Jirah and Zion. ‘Pretty Boy’ loved Harris but she tragically died of a drug overdose in 2020. They both had their bumpy moments in their marriage and it got out of hand in 2010.
He was jailed in 2010 over domestic violence, not knowing that he would lose her a decade later to a drug overdose. The pair had been together since 1995 but 15 years later, Harris could not take any more domestic abuse. She reported the incidents – six of them – and the court found the American boxer guilty. He was jailed for two months.
Mayweather in the recent past remarked that Harris’ death hit him so hard that he wished he could do something to bring her back.
“I got to take my time when I talk about this. Everything I asked for in life, any and everything I thought about in life, I got. And I’ll say this every day, just for her to come back, I’ll give it all,” he said during an interview with Hollywood Unlocked hosted by Jason Lee.
Harris in a 2014 interview with USA Today said that domestic abuse by Mayweather took a toll on her mental health. Her son Koraun witnessed the violence his father meted out on his mother and testified in court over the same. Still, he remained a modest father after his jail time.

As a Black family living in a country indicted in the past of racial discrimination, Floyd Mayweather kids have their father to thank for cushioning them against this. He recalls an incident where he transferred his daughter from a private institution to a public school. She was the only Black child at the prestigious private school and he knew what would happen later.

Mayweather is not directly linked to rapper NBA YoungBoy. However, his family connection with the rapper stems from the fact that his daughter Iyanna has a baby, Kentrell Jr with the rapper. Therefore; Mayweather is a grandfather.
