HIGHLIGHT: CHELSEA 1:2 REAL MADRID: SOME Worst Players For Chelsea In Their Narrow Defeat To Real Madrid

CHELSEA 1:2 REAL MADRID:

Chelsea continued their pre-season campaign today in preparation for the fast-approaching season when they took on Real Madrid at the Bank Of America Stadium. The Blues suffered back-to-back defeats as they lost 2-1 against the Los Blancos. Two early goals from Lucas Vazquez and Brahim Diaz was enough to hand Real Madrid their first win in the pre-season against the Blues.

In this article, I will be sharing the three worst players for Chelsea in their disappointing defeat to Real Madrid. Let’s get right into it.

1, Raheem Sterling.

Those who watched the game will definitely have understand why Raheem Sterling appears on this list. The English International wasn’t effective at all in the attack for Chelsea as he struggled to pose a serious attacking threat at Real Madrid’s defensive area.

2, Roméo Lavia.

The Belgian International had an unconvincing performance for Chelsea in this game. Apart from making basic passes of the ball, the 20-year-old couldn’t make any tangible impact on the team’s performance against the Los Blancos. He looked quite lost in the middle of the park for Chelsea and it was evident in his game.

3, Mykhalio Mudryk.

Mykhalio Mudryk came in for Raheem Sterling in the second half of this encounter and also had a poor performance against Real Madrid. His movements of the ball weren’t threatening in anyway as he struggled to successfully take on the Real Madrid players when moving on the attack.
