Dorcas Adeyinka a socialite and philanthropist has said she was not hiding from the police. She also denied all the police accused her of.
In her words: “I was summoned to Abuja by the police last Monday 6 May 2024, and I told them that I cannot afford the transportation because my bank accounts are frozen. But I have contacted my lawyer, and everything will be sorted out.
“I’m still in Nigeria. My ticket to the United Kingdom is open, and I’m not even traveling anytime soon. Why would I be declared wanted when I didn’t commit all the crimes leveled against me? I’m even a victim of Cyberstalking. Abike Jagaban and her cohorts have shown me Shege!”
The founder of Dorcas Adeyinka ‘s Empowerment Foundation also disclosed that an Abuja court had summoned two social media users, Tolulope Adeoye, aka Abike Jagaban, and Tolulope Odegbami, aka Olowosibi for criminally defaming her person, by allegedly sharing her (Dorcas’) nude photo online.
In the court summons dated Thursday, May 9, 2024, which was exclusively obtained by Newsmen, Chief Magistrate Emmanuel Iyanna ordered the two defendants – Tolulope Adeoye, aka Abike Jagaban, and Tolulope Odegbami, aka Olowosibi – to appear in persons before the court on June 4, 2024, to answer the charges leveled against them by the complainant.
