A man recently shared his distress on social media after discovering that his girlfriend is a lesbian.
In an anonymous post, he revealed that they met in Nairobi, Kenya, and began dating. However, she later confessed that one of her female friends expressed romantic interest in her, but she assured him she would never entertain such advances.
Despite noticing several red flags, he chose to ignore them. To his shock, he eventually learned that she had been having an affair with her younger sister. Now, she has contracted a sexually transmitted infection (STI), and he is worried that he may also be infected.
He wrote: “I met this girl in Nairobi in October of last year. She told me about a female friend who she claimed wanted to date her but promised me she could never do such a thing…like she can’t be a lesbian. Out of love, I believed her.
I have seen many red flags but kept ignoring them because of her beauty and everything. She supports me, and that is another reason I never wanted to bring this issue up.
Being so curious, I went through her phone, only to realise that she had been having an affair with her younger sister. There was another lady she was dating. Sad enough, I believe they are both infected with an STI. The sister was complaining about her condition worsening.
I am broken because this makes me a carrier of the disease too. She says she loves me, but I don’t trust her anymore. What should I do?”
