“I’m tired of everything, I’m jobless, I’ve lost hope” – Young female graduate cries out

A recent National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) graduate has taken to social media to voice her frustrations over the challenges of finding a job in Lagos.
The young lady, who completed her NYSC service year and relocated to Lagos in search of employment opportunities, revealed that despite her relentless efforts, she remains unemployed.
She recounted applying for numerous job vacancies across the city but has yet to receive any positive response.
In her emotional post on social media, she also highlighted the Catch-22 situation she faces in the job market: the requirement for working experience even for entry-level positions.
She expressed her dismay at being asked for work experience when applying for jobs, pointing out the irony of the situation as fresh graduates like her are often unable to gain experience due to lack of opportunities.
