She was set to represent Nigeria at the 2020 Olympics but was disqualified in Tokyo due to the Athletics Federation of Nigeria’s negligence, similar to Favour Ofili’s situation. Frustrated, she switched her allegiance to the USA. Now, Echikunwoke Nneka Annette has just won the silver medal for the USA at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
