It’s official! Favour Ofili is the first Nigerian woman in 28 years to qualify for the 200m final at the Olympics!

From being overlooked for the 100m to breaking records and making history, she executed her race plan effectively, securing the second automatic qualifying spot in the women’s 200m event at the Paris 2024 Olympics with a season-best time of 22.05 seconds.

Julien Alfred won the race with a time of 21.98 seconds. Truly, the rejected stone has become the cornerstone. 👏👏

Congratulations @ofili.fa

We’re rooting for you ❤️
