JUST IN: Election Results from Obaseki’s Polling Unit announced
Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has delivered a win for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at his polling unit in the ongoing governorship election. The victory goes to PDP candidate Asue Ighodalo.
Official results from Polling Unit 19, Ward 04 in Oredo Local Government Area show that the PDP received 127 votes. The closest rival, Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress (APC), secured 35 votes, while the Labour Party (LP) received 11 votes.
This election sees a total of 17 candidates contesting for the governorship of Edo State, with Governor Obaseki’s polling unit results marking a key win for the PDP.
