Kogi State Governor Steps Up Massive Infrastructure Work At Kogi State University

In an effort to elevate Kogi State University, Kabba to national prominence, Governor Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo is spearheading a bold initiative to enhance the institution’s infrastructure.

The ongoing infrastructural projects, which encompass Theater Halls, Lecture Halls, Hostels, and administrative buildings, are rapidly transforming the university into a premier center for learning and excellence.

Furthermore, the Governor’s substantial investment in the university’s road network is evolving into a remarkable engineering feat.
During a recent visit to the institution, reporters from Kogi State.gov.ng engaged with university management staff, many of whom expressed enthusiasm for the significant infrastructural developments taking place.

The institution’s Public Relations Officer, Hon. Tade Oshaloto, conveyed to kogistate.gov.ng that Governor Ododo’s unwavering commitment is evident in his efforts to position the university among the nation’s institutions best.

Oshaloto remarked, “The overwhelming interest from prospective students for the upcoming session is a testament to the appeal of the enhancements Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is implementing at Kogi State University, Kabba. His dedication is truly commendable, and we are fortunate to have a Governor who is dedicated to advancing our institution.”

Kogi State University, Kabba was established by former Governor Alh. Yahaya Bello in response to the aspirations of the Okunland community for a comprehensive university in the region.
The establishment of the university has fostered a strong bond between the administration and the people of Okunland and Kogi West as a whole.
