Lagos announces traffic diversion to shutdown popular Flyover – Crime Channels

THE Lagos State government, yesterday, announced a traffic diversion for the installation of a truck barrier at the Ojuelegba Flyover, by the Fire Station.

According to the Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, the flyover will be shut on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6, 2024, between 10 pm and 5 am.

Motorists were advised to use the diversion route below during the nighttime installation of the barriers.

Osiyemi urged motorists to be patient as the brief closure of the bridge is planned for nighttime as part of a traffic management strategy to avert further accidents and loss of lives.
