LaLiga: Flick to sign two-year contract to replace Xavi at Barcelona

Former Bayern Munich manager, Hansi Flick, is set to sign his contract with Barcelona today.

Flick is expected to put pen to paper on a two-year deal until 2026, as replacement for Xavi Hernandez who was sacked last week.

This was revealed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on Wednesday morning.

Romano wrote on X:

“Hansi Flick signs today as new Barcelona head coach on contract valid until June 2026.

“It’s all sealed, staff included; initial meeting to plan the summer transfer window will take place soon.”

Last night, a video of Flick having dinner with Barcelona president, Joan Laporta, leaked on social media.
