Man dies after getting tattooed from unlicensed tattooist

A 7-month pregnant woman, identified as Saga Forsgen Elneborg, was found strangled to death by her Somali boyfriend.

The 20-year-old soon-to-be mother was discovered lifeless in her home in Örebro, Sweden, with a lamp cord around her neck.

According to prosecutors, her 22-year-old Somali boyfriend, Mohamedamin Abdirisek Ibrahim, is accused of killing her in April of last year. It’s alleged that he chose to end her life rather than face the shame of introducing her to his Muslim family.

Before her untimely death, Saga’s family revealed that she was overjoyed about her pregnancy, eagerly sharing ultrasound photos with her loved ones.

She even took maternity photos in anticipation of welcoming her baby boy into the world.

Late Saga, her mother told the Swedish outlet Nerikes Allehanda: “She was so happy. She would move to a new apartment and start her life as a mother. This is the worst thing imaginable.”

Reports also indicate that in their conversations, Mohamedamin attempted to persuade Saga to undergo an abortion, but she declined his suggestion. Instead, she assured him that she would take care of the child on her own, even without his support.

“I know we can make it, but I won’t be able to keep my family. If it had been possible, there would have been no problem with keeping the child.” he wrote in the text before she declined the idea of abortion

Saga’s last text exchange with Mohamedamin also revealed that he had promised to disclose their relationship and her pregnancy to his family and relatives on April 28, 2023, the very night before he tragically ended her life.

“Feels like I can almost feel my heartbeat all the way down to my stomach.” he wrote in the text while expressing how nervous he is to tell his family about their relationship.

THE ROOM WHICH THE SCENE TOOK PLACE

In their final text exchange, Saga attempted to reassure Ibrahim that it will be fine after he confided in her that he had only told one person about their relationship and pregnancy.

In a follow up, Saga inquired about how it would be for her to communicate with the person Ibrahim had confided in, but Ibrahim left that question unanswered.

In the indictment, prosecutor Elisabeth Anderson wrote: “Mohamedamin Abdirisek Ibrahim has killed Saga Forsgren Elneborg by suffocating and strangling her by means of pressure on her neck with an impact on the trachea and the blood supply to the head.’

She added in a press release: “I mean that the murder took place in an honor context because the man wanted to preserve or restore his and his family’s honor by killing the woman who was carrying his child..”

It was also reported that Saga’s baby died inside her womb
