Minister speaks on Tinubu’s health, absence from Nigeria [VIDEO]

The Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare,Tunji Alausa, has allayed the fears of many Nigerians concerning the health of President Bola Tinubu.

Politics Nigeria reports that there has been concerns about the health and whereabouts of President Tinubu since his last official trip to Saudi Arabia for the World Economic Forum (WEF).

It’s been over a week since the even ended but President Tinubu is yet to return to the country.

The presidency has also not said a word regarding the president’s whereabouts.

But speaking with ChannelsTV on Tuesday, Alausa said President Tinubu’s absence from the country is not due to medical reasons.

Alausa maintained that contrary to speculations, Tinubu is not away from Nigeria on medical grounds.

“Let me tell you, we are developing a healthcare system for Nigerians not for the President. We have 220 million Nigerians and that’s what Mr President wants,” the minister announced.

“We have a president that is well, that is healthy and leading the country in the right direction,” he added.
