Money Was Shared – Shehu Sani Alleges Plot to Overthrow Tinubu’s Govt

According to Daily Post, a former federal lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, has alleged that the idea of protesters flying the Russian flag in Kano, Zamfara, Kaduna and some other northern states was part of a plot to overthrow President Bola Tinubu’s government.

Senator Sani, who said this while speaking on Channels Television on Tuesday, pointed that some elements in the North want to overthrow the government.

He said in part:

“A day before the last protest, money was shared to the youths, and Russian flags were also shared.

“That shows that the whole intent of the protest is not simply about the policies and programs of the government.

“There was an attempt to create an atmosphere where there would be an overthrow of the government.
