It’s been reported that Bobrisky, the crossdresser also known as Idris Okuneye, was secretly moved from the Ikoyi Correctional Center in Lagos to Kirikiri Prison by the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS).
On Friday, April 12, 2024, Bobrisky received a six-month jail sentence for currency abuse without an option of fine.
An authoritative source within the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS) informed a print media that Bobrisky, the well-known cross-dresser, is currently detained at Kirikiri Prison.
The transfer was reportedly conducted discreetly over the past weekend.
He stated, “It is procedural that he is moved to Kirikiri since it is an expansive prison compared to what we have here.”
The source further explained that for security reasons, Okuneye was quietly relocated to the facility where he will serve his sentence.
