Nonsonkwa Ochi War speaks out, giving a stern warning to those campaigning for Igbos to leave Lagos. He said:

“For those of you who are campaigning for Igbos to leave Lagos, do you really think you can drive Igbos away? Ndígbo are peaceful people, but we are ready to respond as needed. If you want peace, we are peacemakers. But if it is war you seek, we will give it to you, and believe me, you will all run out of Lagos. What is your economic contribution to Lagos that makes you think you can ask Ndígbo to leave? For your information, it is Ndígbo who have significantly contributed to making Lagos what it is today. Out of 100% of markets, real estate, and other business ventures in Lagos, we Igbos own 99% of them.

What do you think you can do to Ndígbo? Is it because we respect everyone that you think you can just wake up and threaten us?
