Arsenal legend Paul Merson has revealed his current favourite Chelsea player, and it’s no surprise at all.
When asked to name his current Chelsea player in a recent social media Q&A, Merson simply wrote on X on Friday evening: “Cole Palmer.”
Cole Palmer has been a key player for Chelsea this season, featuring in 34 matches across all competitions and contributing 14 goals and 12 assists.
Former Chelsea winger Pat Nevin, has also named Chelsea’s best three players this season, and his list is spot-on.
Pat Nevin named Cole Palmer, Conor Gallagher and Malo Gusto as Chelsea’s best three players this season. He however admitted Cole Palmer has been the best Chelsea player this season.
Cole Palmer has indeed won hearts since making a £40m switch from Manchester City last summer.
