Her death, announced through local radio stations in Kano, has deeply saddened the entertainment community in Kano State.
According to her family, Daso peacefully passed away in her sleep early on Tuesday morning, 9 April, 2024 after the pre-dawn meal before the start of Ramadan fasting (Sahur).
With a career spanning over 18 years, Daso was a well-known figure in the Hausa film industry, captivating audiences across the Northern region with her exceptional performances and diverse roles.
Before her successful acting career, Saratu dedicated herself to teaching.
