Presidency releases video of Tinubu resuming duties, dispels health rumours
President Bola Tinubu has officially resumed his duties at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, just a day after returning from his overseas trip.
To dispel rumours surrounding his health and whereabouts, the Presidency released a video showing the president taking a stroll from his official residence to his office.
He was accompanied by his security team, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and other aides.
During his two-week trip abroad, President Tinubu visited the Netherlands at the invitation of Prime Minister Mark Rutte. There, he engaged with the Nigerian-Dutch business community and attended the World Economic Forum in Saudi Arabia, where he held discussions with global leaders to attract more investors to Nigeria.
Additionally, he made a private visit to Europe before returning to Nigeria on Wednesday.
On Thursday, he hosted Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani and Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang.
The release of the video puts an end to speculations regarding his health as Nigerians have been demanding to see the president in public.
